it’s been too long since we did an 11 things blog post, am I right? I honestly look forward to these monthly blog posts SO much! It is so fun to be sharing bits and pieces from my days with you guys because I feel like it’s so important to show you not just what I am doing, but how I am “living”. I want it to feel tangible. I hope it can inspire. And I hope you can feel more connected and supported too!
ok let’s get started, shall we? Here are 11 things I have been experiencing, loving and on my heart to share!
Oh Canadaaa. We got to go to Canada the beginning of this month after not being able to head over the last few years, and it was so nice to experience the beautiful mountains, the scenery, yummy eats, and the hot springs! I have never been to hot springs before, have you? Being in a cave was SO cool, and I loved knowing I was getting all the good minerals from the hot springs. We can’t wait to go back, which brings me to…
We are headed back to Canada this summer to go to Lake Louise and Banff National Park. I am ECSTATIC and that is an understatement. Legit created a bucket list when I was 8 years old and Banff was on the list. I knew exactly what hotel I wanted to stay at, and it has been in many visualizations for me. I cannot wait to go back!
Thrive market. I am 3 months in, and forgot how much I loved it. Have you used it before? I try to avoid to many subscriptions because honestly I forget to change them. But with 3 kids and nonstop activities, and ever increasing organic food prices, I have really wanted to be able to keep getting a variety of yummy organic foods on a budget. I really love that they have so much meat and frozen food selection now. We do gluten free eating too, and I feel like they have way more variety there too, as well as household items. yay for the easy button! I had my first session with a medium and WOW. I was not sure if I should share this because I find this gets SO misconstrued by so many so I will just say this: I believe God gives each and every one of us incredible gifts to share to help others, but often programming and judgements of what we do not understand or are familiar with get in our way from experiencing more connection to ourselves, God, and our incredible talents. I did this appointment after wanting to for a few years…I was just waiting till I could come to it not with any wants or needs, I was just open to the possibilities. It’s pretty incredible to have someone who doesn’t know you tell you things about you that are 1. accurate and 2. extremely validating. I have many gifts when it comes to healing that I have kept hidden or suppressed in the past because I don’t want to have to explain it for fear of others “not getting it”. Knowing this is exactly what I need to step forward in with confidence was very encouraging, as I believe this is my God given purpose, and being supported in this way was powerful.
We had family come into town we haven’t seen in a few years, and it was SO fun! We miss our Ohio family, and it can be really hard to live so far away from all our family. We were so grateful to have them visit and made sure to show them some of our favorite spots in North Idaho! The visit was so short, so we hope to visit them in Ohio later this year.
I legit balled my eyes out this past week because I dropped Atlas off at daycare for the first time. Lordddd was I a bucket of tears. I knew it was for the best, but mamas know: it is so hard! A million emotions and thoughts, and even guilt pass through your mind. The thing is: even if I didn’t work, I know it is so helpful for me to have those helping hands. And even though society judges it so much, I believe MOMS need to take care of themselves and engage in self care to be their best selves for their family. I am blown away how often I see this demonized on social media. Change like this is never easy, but there is a season for everything, and I am grateful to have some part time help so I can continue to support my health, business and family. Can you relate?
Did you see my Trader joe’s trip on the gram recently? I happened to be in a city with one because I was visiting a holistic dentist in the area. My closest Trader Joe’s is over an hour away, which to be honest, is totally fine BUT I will say there are a few staples here I love, and was so excited to find! Besides all the discounted plants, I love their discounted organic fruit, ground chicken, prepackaged meals, and their kids snacks. I got everything I needed for hosting a taco night this weekend. My fave item? The kale vegetable dip they have!
So as I mentioned, I was in the city to visit a holistic dentist. I was so happy to find out I had no cavities! That’s something I work hard on, and I credit thieves mouthwash, toothpaste, and floss for being my winning trio in the teeth department. I am just starting up doing a drop of orange oil on my toothpaste too to help with whitening. I love these three products for non toxic support for the whole fam, and I use typically Risewell’s toothpaste for my kids because it’s a clean toothpaste without flouride and other chemicals and my kids LOVE the taste. You can use LINDSAYTUTTLENP10 for 10% off any of the risewell products.
With being on the road a lot more lately, I have some different podcasts I have been loving and wanted to share with you! Is anyone else a big fan of The Office Tv show? I have been loving listening to the Office Ladies podcast, honestly I laugh the whole time! I also have been listening to the Blurry Creatures podcast (hello all my fave conspiracy theories!), which is always a good time, though I really like to have uninterrupted driving time listening to this one. Do you have any favorite podcasts lately?
Eek…I have a HUGE surprise coming for you later in May: a new course! Dude, this has been being birthed for a LONG time, and I cannot wait to share it with you. It is all about unlearning dis-ease…not just for you, but for your kids, and generations to come! I can’t wait to share more with you on how the quantum field works, and how your biology and “the way you are” has been generations in the making. You will get SOOO many supportive tools out of this course to equip and empower you for decades to come!
A good friend was talking to me this morning about boundaries and making time in the “mundane” time. It was so good because we are both small biz owners, have 3 kids, and passionate about showing up empowered in our lives. But I really needed the reminder today of how to make the time in the in between time. I often will do a gratitude practice when I am walking on the treadmill at the gym and breathing exercises when I am in the car, but I loved reflecting on other ways to save and maximize time. I want to be getting more prayer and speaking out my affirmations in the car, as well as make it a point to set more boundaries in place with work, so I can show up that much more present outside of it. Always learning and growing here, and see more and more positive changes each month, but I guess all of this Is to say that I am human too. I am right here doing the work too. And I am unlearning and recalibrating too. It helps to surround yourself with people also who are dedicated to growth!
Ok that’s it for my eleven things this month friends! Thanks for holding space, and being a part of my community- I appreciate you so much!
