Hi Guys. This is Lindsay, your host for the Untethered with Lindsay Tuttle NP podcast, where we go deep on truly becoming untethered in your life and health and experiencing exponential freedom. We have the radical and uncensored conversations you have been craving and give you the tools for expansion and growth. I’m so glad that you are here and I can’t wait to connect with you.
Hey friends. I’m so excited to be chatting with you guys today. And I have a special guest who is a friend of mine here where I live in North Idaho. She is amazing. I can’t wait for you to connect with her and meet her. She is just such a light in my life. I have Lyndsey Chambers here, who is just an incredible coach and mom. And
Lyndsey is a mindset and life coach. She’s your ride or die, your cheerleader, your coach. Imagine your bestie, therapist, high school soccer coach, and fairy godmother all merged into one being. That’s Lyndsey. I’ll also add she’s a fellow Aquarius.
Together, you and Lyndsey can create an easier, fuller way of living. And it’s essential to Lyndsey that you are seen, heard, and supported.
Lyndsey, I just love your bio. And I actually, I said to Lyndsey like, oh, this is such a fun, different bio. And I immediately drawn to Fairy Godmother. I’m like, this sounds so great. But that’s totally you, Lyndsey. I’m so excited that you’re on and that you get to share all your wisdom with us.
Lyndsey
Thank you. I’m so happy to be here. It’s going to be so fun.
Lindsay
Yeah. I would love to know too. So I know Lyndsey that you are a fellow Aquarius like me. We always talk about it because Aquarius are just, we’re our own personalities and, uh…
Lyndsey
We are. And I feel like people often say that, like if they’re not an Aquarius, I feel like they say that like it’s a bad thing.
Lindsay
I’m okay with it.
Lyndsey
It really is. It really is. I love to ask people who come on what your human design is and anything you want to tell us about that. I think I know your human design for refresh my memory.
Lyndsey
I am a generator.
Lindsay
Which I feel like makes so much sense for everything I see that you put out. You’re so passionate about everything you put out. And I just love your story too, Lyndsey. And that was something I was really excited for people to be able to hear, because you do coaching now and you’re really focused on the mindset and, and life coach components and you started in health. I mean, you had a brick and mortar business and I just love the evolution of it because I talked to so many people who, and I feel like this is, somewhat of my own journey who started in kind of more of the what people see and know about health, you know? Health coaching and, and, you know, the brick and mortar business. And then it just evolved and you just evolved with it. And so I’d love for you to share just that journey.
Lyndsey
Sure. Yeah, I grew up. I feel like very grateful that I grew up in such a different way than a lot of people. My mom was very, we had a TP and a medicine wheel in our yard. Like I grew up with parents who were way before their time. My mom opened wellness centers in the 90s.
Lindsay
So before her time, I always, I always tell Lizzie, her mom is so cool.
Lyndsey
My mom is such a pioneer. She’s also a generator and she’s a Pisces and she’s totally was so before her time. And, and, you know, as much as you say, like, I’m not going to be like my mom. I, you can’t fight like where you come from and your roots. And so I started working in her wellness centers when I was like 15 years old. I got my degree in kinesiology because I wanted to be a physical therapist because we offered physical therapy in the wellness centers. And then I realized like that’s not for me at all, switched gears, stayed under kinesiology and studied in, loved it, and took over the wellness centers.
I ran them, then I became the full owner of them. And I had a yoga studio and a fitness studio within those components. And I was always, when we had massage therapists and energy workers, and we had all of these beautiful people working with us and I loved, I loved it. And I always saw that common themes. I feel like I’m really great at like being this investigator and I was always connecting the dots. Like these people’s bodies are physically getting in such better shape technically, but they’re still holding chronic pain like a fibromyalgia or they’re still not happy with how they are or they can’t lose any weight.
And when I would start to get deeper in with their personalities and what was going on with them, then it was like, oh, there’s really common themes. This is their, this is, their belief system. This is how they were raised. This is their life, their bodies, just this cumulative reflection of what has been addressed and what has been suppressed.
Lindsay
Totally.
Lyndsey
And, yep, and I went and I studied homeopathy. Homeopathy completely changed my life at a really, I was 20 when I started working with a homeopath. So eventually I studied homeopathy and that even more gets you into the sort of investigative.
Lindsay
Yeah. That’s so true. I forgot you had done that. Yeah. You’re. And you were kind of an OG homeopathy person, too.
Lyndsey
Yes, yes. I was an OG of a lot of things. And I was like the youngest person in my yoga teacher training when I went to I studied Iyengar yoga. I’ve studied Iyengar yoga for over 20 years. And I did their yoga training. I was just always like, how can I learn more? How can I learn more? And it really got me to where I am because I realized I can take their body so far. And then they’re completely blocked by their mind, their spirit, their, and it doesn’t even have to be this lifetime. It could be previous lifetimes. And if they’re not ready, and they don’t have the tools to unravel that, they’re going to continually have this block, right?
Our body is our biggest teacher I believe. And so I started taking my clients and just doing the mindset work and going deeper with them. And this was when I was in my mid twenties, early twenties, probably. And it just evolved. And I actually knew, I don’t know if people really know this. I actually knew I wanted to have an online business because I wanted to live in North Idaho.
Lindsay
Oh, cool. Yeah. I, Lyndsey’s kind of like a OG North Idaho person too. I, I go to her for the information on things and she’ll be like, Oh yeah, that building used to be X, Y, Z. It’s like little chamber of converse, right? Um, but yeah, that’s so funny because you are from Southern California. And so that that’s, it’s interesting. Like your family was coming up here though for a while going back.
Lyndsey
When I was a little kid. Yeah. Yeah. Since I was very small my family’s, we were living in Oregon. I’m originally from Oregon And so I’ve had aunts, aunts and uncles here since the 80s. So I’ve been coming up here for a long time So fast forward I was like I want an online business for the freedom and flexibility because I’d had a brick and mortar and I didn’t want employees. I didn’t want to have that commitment to a location and so I intentionally really started building that about nine years ago, and it has continually evolved.
Lindsay
Yeah, I was thinking when you were mentioning that, you know, I get these sometimes these spurts where I’m like, oh, I could have the brick and mortar of this office. So that I kind of come back to what do I really, really want? And I want the flexibility. I want the freedom. I want to be able to create my own schedule on a dime. Like, I mean, it’s just really, I love that you had that awareness even just nine years ago, you were like, I know that I want to be able to build this online.
And something that I always experienced when I see Lyndsey’s work is you have an approach that I can just, something I feel like you exude is just fun, mixed with calm and mix with contentment. Like I always get the sense that you’re just really happy with your life and you are just very connected to that and I think that’s can be really hard to find in the online space.
Because I feel like something and you get this as a generator. I mean, I’m a manifesting generator and I feel like the constant message that is just, you know, in a neon light on in front of our face is just to keep doing doing, generating generating, and producing and and… but in a way that often seems very out of alignment for, for women’s bodies and for our health and something that I know you are so passionate about and you do so well as, as bringing that harmony together. And so I’d love to know just if you can impart some wisdom to us of just how you really started figuring out or establishing these rhythms, where you were just finding that harmony for yourself? Or just kind of that healing in your own life as you were doing this mindset work with others because you started that pretty young?
Lyndsey
I did well, I feel like I learned that harmony how all of us learn our lessons. I just kept slamming myself against the floor And like kicking my own ass.
Lindsay
An older toddler. Yeah. Yeah.
Lyndsey
And I would just be like, push, push, push, push, push, and completely burn out. Get back up, push, push, push, push, push burn out. Because I love to produce and I love to create and I love to push myself. I always say I’m this recovering type A personality. I really had to heal from the ideas that I had that if I wasn’t always going, I wasn’t worthy, right? And just because I can, does it mean I should?
Lindsay
Totally, totally. I think that’s like the, the biggest message for women to hear is, you know, just because you have the ability you’re capable doesn’t mean that you have to commit to it. And, and I love that, that’s just something that you’ve been, you’ve been in alignment with. So when you started…
Lyndsey
Working on it for a long time, Lyns.
Lindsay
And I don’t know, this is, I’m going to speak for the women in my circle and just the trends that I see. Cause I don’t know if this is true for everyone else, but I really feel like women have evolved so much. And in the sense that let’s say like pre 2020, even during, I’m going to say even in the last like three years. But we’ll say before 2020, so many women were okay being a total disaster. They were okay pushing. They were okay grinding. They were okay being depleted. They were okay trying to get the quick fixes. Like just give me the bandaid and let’s move on. I need to get this done. And they were just, like they knew they were a hot mess and they almost glorified that they were a hot mess like that was their badge of honor. I’m so stressed out. I’m so busy. I’m so… aren’t isn’t this amazing, that I can push myself to the limit over and over again?
And I think something really has happened in the last few years where people are becoming more self aware. They’re becoming more conscious and they are saying wait a minute, I don’t want to keep living this way And I think that was a really big blessing that came out of 2020 as we all got this gigantic moment to be like, what the heck is this life that I have created? And now I’m just sitting here in my house in my fear and in my garbage, and is this the life I’m going to keep living? And I think it was so, I think it lit a fire under a lot of people to change their lives.
Lindsay
I’d say more like 2021?
Lindsay
Yeah, I just felt like a completely different person. You know, I almost felt like I was having a, I don’t want to say like a midlife crisis, because I don’t, I wouldn’t say anything about it was a crisis. It was just a, like I’m no longer okay. Yeah. Yeah evolution expansion. And just coming back. I feel like it’s always coming back to who we were made to be, you know? And what our soul came here to do and it’s just you know getting to get connected with that again. And so I love that. That’s just something that you witness.
I feel like for a lot of the people that I’ve seen, you know, they have this awareness too that like you’re saying I don’t want to be this stressed anymore and I’m tired of living in this kind of stress and it’s really fun to see that women are Getting to that place where they are like, no, I, I want better for myself. And I know something that you were just teaching on that looks so fun. And I think there’s such a big need on, is when this even comes to relationships and you were doing a masterclass, I think it was on manifesting your man, which was so fun.
I mean, I feel very fortunate. I’ve got my man and I’m very happy. But, but also, I mean, there’s been a, I know you can say the same with, with your husband, Johnny, just like, there’s been a lot of work that we’ve had to put into our relationship to be able to, like, I mean, I feel like we’re in the best spot we’ve ever been, but we’ve also been in low spots, you know. I, I know, uh, that’s something that you love to teach. And I just want to hear, cause I’m sure this is something people can maybe access now through your website now that it’s, it’s passed. So I’d love to hear a bit more about Manifest Your Man and and how that was, that was born?
Lyndsey
Oh yeah, absolutely. It was born because half of my clients are single women, whether they’re divorced or they just have not been married and they’re single. And when we, I was, I teach a manifest that shit journal challenge. And in the journal challenge, it would always come up and women would say, well, how do I manifest a partner? How do I manifest a boyfriend? What am I doing wrong? And some would, I would jokingly be like, we need to turn this into a class. And I always knew. We do need to turn this into a class, because a lot of women are 100 percent blocking blocking love, blocking relationships, blocking attention, and because of
their own limiting beliefs and because of their own fears.
And rightfully so, I mean, if you’ve had your heart broken three times, and add in like some daddy issues and some mom issues, like you’re not really super stoked to put yourself out there as a female. And I’m going to say men too, even though I don’t work with a lot of men. I know that they also are humans and they also have feelings and I think that teaching women how to be conscious of what they’re saying and what they’re thinking in the energy that they’re holding. And invite them to start to heal. I think so many women don’t even heal their past relationships. They just kind of shove it down or they say oh I’m fine.
But it’s reflecting in the fact that they don’t want to put themselves out there. It’s reflecting when they say there’s no men in the world. There’s no nice guys. Everyone’s married everyone. No one wants me I’m not good enough, right? It all comes down to like our own personal limiting beliefs or the stories that we’re telling ourselves And so, I thought this would be so fun, as it, you know, I just thought this would be really fun content, let’s teach this class, and then it evolved into the relationship prep course.
I also taught a relationship prep course, really working on yourself, in any relationship, even in our marriages. Every issue we have with someone else is a mirror to look at our own issues. Period. You can’t even deny it. Whether it’s your children, your sister, your husband, your ex-boyfriend, or someone you just are like, talking to on Tinder. Whatever our judgments are, and whatever our issues are in a relationship, it’s our own mirror. And so, being in a relationship, I 100 percent manifested my husband, and I did a ton of work before I met him. And I was like, I know my worth, I’ve done the work, I’ve healed, and I’m not gonna settle. And he’s out there and I truly believed that he was and I met him two weeks later.
Lindsay
Oh, cool. I didn’t know this about your story. Oh, I love that.
Lyndsey
Yes. Yep. I think that it’s just really, you can’t have an abundant loving relationship with someone else until you have an abundant loving relationship with yourself.
Lindsay
Absolutely. Totally.
Lyndsey
So, giving women tools and empowering them to see, you can have an abundant loving relationship and it doesn’t have to be scary and we don’t have to sit on a therapist’s couch for four years to get there. I think so many people are just afraid to like peek at their closet of shame, so to speak. Because they think like it’s so much work to unravel and it has to be so painful and it’s like, I’ll just keep shoving it in there. And it doesn’t have to be that way. And so that it kind of was just birth, like everything I do, there was a need. And I think people could do it and have a lot more fun and make it a lot more simplified than their always over complicating dating. And so that’s how it all came about.
Lindsay
Yeah, was Johnny involved with some of this as far as, uh, helping with the, the coaching part? I know he does a lot with… just the…
Lyndsey
He did not. He did not. And I actually, I, I should have him like go in and do a Q& A for all these women because it would be really great. I, I’m fortunate that I have brothers and some of my best friends are men, like, before my husband. And I think that having a man’s perspective is so refreshing because they’re literally so different than we are. And I always encourage women, like, if you have a man you trust in your life, ask his opinion because it’s going to be the truth. They don’t, like, try and overthink it and strategize it and manipulate it They’re just like what you what you get is what you get and I love that.
Lindsay
It’s so true I love that my husband is a projector with human design and I just know when I ask him for advice. I mean, it’s just so simple it just like comes out of his mouth like butter like it’s just like okay.
Lyndsey
I’m like, that’s it. That’s really it.
Lindsay
Like, okay. Um, but you know, projectors have a way of doing that too. Uh, you know, just kind of that zoomed out version of looking at everything. That is so cool. And I love that you offered that because I think, you know, I would say, I feel like most people that I work with are moms or they are married or aspiring to be. And so just like knowing that, that is such a such a special component to be, so that you can be working on preparing yourself for doing your own healing work. So I was seeing that you were sharing that and all these little glimpses and I was like this looks so cool, so I love that. I love that.
Uh, that’s something people have available.
So I’d love to know, Lyns just with where you are with your, your own life right now, what have you just been with just everything that’s been going on, with 2020 and I feel like, you know, there’s never a dull moment with just news and inputs and noise. Like what has been the highest priority for you when it comes to just supporting your own healing right now in your own, just being in your zone and being in your just flow? What has been things that have been sticking out to you that you’ve just been prioritizing or focused on?
Lyndsey
Mm, mm hmm.
Lyndsey
And focusing on the love in situations instead of focusing and getting caught up in the drama, in the fear. Lyndsey And really continually returning to, is this aligned with love? Is this aligned with harmony? Is this something that’s working? So for me, that’s always going back to nature. That’s always spending more time in nature. Always grounds me so much. I always think that is the Aquarius in me. It’s like, I just need to be out there in the, in, in the earth. And also just really continually asking myself, like, is this, In alignment with my, my like mission statement, so to speak, like my personal mantra of what I want in my life and, and just being open to the universe is going to continually hand me things that are going to serve that purpose. And if, in the same token, if something changes, whether it’s a relationship, a friendship, a job opportunity, like anything, if it, if a door closes, I have to just trust, like, I don’t have to see why that door is closing. I just have to be like, okay, great. I don’t need to judge it or analyze it. So for me, staying on that path is really just being less is more in all directions and more time with my family and just continually checking in with myself.
Lindsay
Speaking to my heart, I was like getting chills listening because, uh, I feel like I can a hundred percent relate, especially in the past ever since I had Atlas and I know Rebel is just a little bit younger than Atlas and was very transformational for you too. Those sweet, those sweet boys. And you know, it’s funny. I was coming back to this even recently, cause I took a trip to California and it was the first trip by myself in years. It just gives you, like you were saying with nature, like that’s so me as well. And it just, it’s just, it was just coming back into alignment with a couple things that have been on my mind about the big theme for this year for me has been less is more. And also to trust. And that is still it’s, it’s it’s building a new muscle like the trust of…
Lyndsey
It is building a new muscle!
Lindsay
Yeah, it’s the trust of you know, like I don’t have to be doing all the things and I can be, you know, just the self trust that, you know, like you said, you know, the universe is going to give me like present these opportunities, but am I open to receiving it? Or am I resisting it or am I cluttering things? You know, that’s been on my mind all year. And just really knowing that how I’m doing things may not look like anything else I see. And that, that I have to just keep on coming to my compass. Like you said, it’s funny. I literally, I was just talking to my husband about this a couple of days ago because, you know, very much had the conditioning just from childhood of just, you know, finding worth in just what I do.
And so unlearning that is a lot, you know? And, and it’s no, it’s no quick fix. You know, I feel like I’m light years ahead of where I was years ago, but you know, you’ll, you’ll see, just like you were saying, different situations are mirrors or they just, you know, kind of reveal to us where we can still experience more healing or more trust.
Lyndsey
Oh, yeah, we keep attracting the same lesson
Lindsay
Totally. I’ve appreciated that because before like the last couple years, I don’t think I even noticed that. But now I always notice when the lesson’s there or just like okay, like this is one of those scenarios again. Um, you know just like stepping into the to the trust and also the vibration of attraction and magnetism, which I think you speak to so well. And that is that when we really are connected to our feminine energy and that beauty in that, we are naturally attracting all these things instead of forcing. It’s, it’s, I like to think of it as like flowing instead of forcing.
Lyndsey
Absolutely. I’m so glad you said that because I was thinking while you were saying learning to trust. This year I’ve literally, literally stood on my left side, right? Our left side is all of our feminine. So I’ve stood just on my left leg and I’ve said, I trust, I trust, I trust. And just letting that lead me versus being in my masculine energy and being the hustler and the pusher. And realizing like when I’m relaxed into who I really am, I can create and I can receive so much better than what I don’t, I can’t receive when I’m pushing and I’m hustling.
And I think that’s really for a few years I’ve been really exploring. And trusting my female side and trusting, not my female side, but my whole human experience a little bit more and a little differently. And I do think that’s something every woman needs to start to really look at and investigate is where am I in alignment with my female energy and what does that mean to me? At personally, like what is my personal female energy is different from your personal expression of female energy. And I think when we can align with our authentic self, we are vibrating at our highest frequency.
Lindsay
Totally. Yeah. Yeah. And I think for so many people, and this is something I wind up talking to a lot of clients with, I feel like you do this so well is just finding what sets you, your soul alive, like what makes you come alive, finding that play again and that fun, which so many people have forgotten how to do.
Lyndsey
And, or they never did. They don’t know.
Lindsay
Yeah. Yeah. And just even like knowing how to make time for that, like evaluating. Your patterns and and where things can shift and so yeah, I think it’s just so so so needed and I really feel like, you know you were saying just especially since 2020, I feel like as a collective as women we are just being called into just a really high calling. Um, but we have to we have to step into that feminine energy and that trust and you know be ready like you said. Be ready to receive. Be ready to experience more healing. Be ready to experience more flow and even abundance. Instead of being like we said, just like in this force or this push or this hustle. And I really think, and I, what I come back to often is that we need to be the ones leading the way and showing how it’s done, um.
Lyndsey
As women?
Lindsay
Yeah. Yeah. Like kind of, kind of just like, you know, being able to show that you can experience this and, and what it looks like. And, and some of that, you know, I think people just pick up on from energy too.
Lyndsey
So I think I’m going to assume that you’re going to agree with this. For sure in the last year what I’ve found has been really cool that’s become more mainstream is getting in tune with our nervous system, with somatic work, with our breath work. And when this started becoming popular I’m like finally, this is so great. Like I’ve been doing somatic work for 20 years. I’ve been doing breath work for 20, like for so long, and to see it where people are like now grasping it. It’s just like really amazing and I feel like that’s really within the last year. So to me to witness that, to witness that like this is healing not for anything but the purpose of healing.
Lindsay
Absolutely. Yeah. No, I love that. You brought that up and just you’re such an OG with that too. You know, what’s funny is, you know, I went through more of a Western medicine trajectory and definitely none of that was ever mentioned with nervous system work. But, you know, when, when I came to that, maybe it was like five years ago. I remember my first initial thought was how, how can it be this easy? Like I literally was so nervous. Thank you. So sick. So sick with Lyme. And I remember thinking, how can this possibly be so easy? And it’s free and like, you know, I was making and I think this is what most people don’t realize that they’re doing. They make it hard, you know? They’re making it so hard, know you?
Taught that everything needs to be hard.
Lindsay
Yeah. And like I’ll have people who, I mean, I know that they’re seeing like 10 different practitioners for, you know, and it’s just like, it really doesn’t have to be this hard. When I really, I mean, I feel like I nixed 95 percent of the supplements I was taking and also just, you know, when I started doing the nervous system work, I was like, oh my gosh, like this is the best gift that I get to give my kids. It’s the best gift that I get to give my husband. Like my marriage completely shifted.
Lyndsey
But you were doing nervous system work before other people were doing nervous system work too.
Lindsay
Yeah. Yeah.
Lyndsey
It’s getting to be, they’ve at least heard of it. In my teaching, I find like a lot of women have heard of nervous system work, but they don’t know what that means. They don’t know what that is. And like you said, it is free. It is pulling you back into your own body.
Lindsay
Totally.
Lyndsey
There is nothing more empowering than being connected with your body and bringing your all of your energetic layers into your body. And to me, when our nervous system is going off, it’s like your red flag that you’re need to check in with your higher self. And you need to do this work with your body and we get to do it. We don’t need someone else in the messaging is…
Lindsay
Totally.
Totally. Yeah. I mean, I don’t think before I started doing any of that work that I knew how to even know what my body’s cues were. Like I just didn’t even know. Now I know, like I know. And you know, I think that is what’s so, it’s so been so fun, so empowering and just, you know, it’s, I feel like the greatest gift you can give to yourself. Like you said, just like that connection piece. So yeah, it’s fun because like you said, you know, it’s, it’s been around, like people have been doing this since the beginning of time. But now it’s starting to has…
Lyndsey
It’s been around for thousands of years.
Lindsay
Yeah. Now people are just starting to understand like, oh, like maybe it can be this simple. Maybe it can be this easy, or, you know, maybe I don’t have to make this so hard, which I think is just generational conditioning. So I, I love like, it sounds like too your mom was, was she doing all of that stuff too?
Lyndsey
Yeah, I haven’t heard of it. When you said that, I was like trying to spell it in my mind.
Lyndsey
I Y E N G R It’s a form of Hatha yoga.
Lindsay
Okay, cool.
Lyndsey
Um, but, yeah, there’s a good, I was practicing pranayama when I was 18. And thank goodness I was, because I had enough anxiety then that I needed it really bad to be working on that breathwork and things like that. So she, I don’t think my mom was ever really into a breathwork practice, but everything else. Absolutely. And when it’s just part of your, like, normal language, it becomes, for a while, to be honest, it was always things I resisted. Like, I don’t need channelings, I don’t need energy healers, I don’t need these things. But, just because that’s, you know, you always resist your parents.
Lindsay
Totally. Yeah.
.
Lindsay
And then I, I, I wanna ask you how, like, just coming to mind of just, you know, you had your third child, um, I guess, is Rebel like two now or no? No, he’s younger than Atlas. So one. Um, so what has been, what did you feel like was the big thing or the big shift or transformation that you experienced with Rebel? I always love hearing people’s.
Lyndsey
Oh my gosh, right, cause every baby is this new birth of yourself. Rebel walked me through all of my fears and helped me really heal
them. Like I always say he was like my redemption pregnancy in a way, um, but not in a redemption. I, that’s not really the right word, but he, really, I feel like held space for me to come into my power.
Lindsay
That’s so good. I love it.
Lyndsey
And he’s such a big, beautiful energy and he’s so joyful and he’s so like wise. And I feel like when I’m pregnant, I have such a deep connection and communication with their souls. And it just really, really helped me step over that threshold and really into myself unapologetically and fully to the point where it’s like, bring it all you got. I don’t have time for this bullshit anymore. Like, I’m, I’m feeling so grateful for that experience.
Lindsay
I love that so much. Thanks for sharing that. I, I know that’s a bit personal, but I, I just love hearing people’s experiences with what, you know, especially I, I knew for, for you and just our personal conversations that that was really transformative for you. So I just loved getting to hear more of the details with that.
Lyndsey
Every baby is so transformative if you let it be, you know, like my first one healed my heart I feel like and the second one pushed me so much. And the third one was like, okay, we’re gonna finally we’ve learned these lessons. We get to move forward
Lindsay
There really is something special about the third with with that. I feel like it’s just like it’s a different kind of energy for sure So I love Lyndsey, something that I always ask people that come on is if they could describe or use like Two or three words to describe what health and healing means to you right now?
Lyndsey
Sure. Health and healing. Sovereignty.
Lindsay
Mm-Hmm.
Lyndsey
Connection, and nature. And I say nature because we are all of the same elements of nature. Our human form embodies all of the same elements, and we are nature. And getting back to nature just brings you back more to yourself. And that sounds like such a tree hugger, but you don’t have to be a tree hugger to experience that. It could be anything, right? Anything that just, Just being out in the sun, just being on your deck, playing with your plants. It doesn’t have to be, I’m not like, tretching through the forest every day, unfortunately. It’s just having that, noticing the beautiful trees as you’re driving by, just paying attention.
Lindsay
It’s so, so true. That has been such a beautiful part of my own healing and just really, like when you were describing that with just nature and our body being the elements. Whenever I see streams, I always think of like, our, our blood flow and our circulation. And, you know, with the trees, I always think of my breath, you know, there’s like all these different connections. And I just feel like, you know, that’s the one thing that I get a little sad, sometimes being in North Idaho. I know during, during the winter time, because I’m starting to wean myself into winter sports, but, uh, you know, it’s just like a different shift, but it’s also a beautiful shift. I appreciate that.
That, you know, I was actually just seeing someone share about this recently. And I was like, oh, it’s so good. Just about, you know, the body, just the importance of preparing the body for like a hibernation in a sense, and just like the importance of our body experiencing those different seasons. And so you know, it’s just connecting with nature a different way and I’m a little bit more bundled up. So that’s that’s how that…
Lyndsey
A lot more bundled up. And then just seeing it for what it is. I think it does get cold And we can complain about it all we want or we can just surrender to it. And it’s so beautiful when you surrender to it.
Lindsay
Totally. Totally. You know, I, it’s funny like, winter has gotten easier for me over the years because there’s certain things too about the winter that I love here. I love just the coziness of the fire. I love, I feel like this is when the locals, the people actually live where we live, they’re, they’re here. So that’s where it’s like, you run it to everybody, you know, all the time. And just like, these are the fun parts, uh, for sure. And just, yeah. Like, you know, last year I took up snowshoeing and I was like, okay, I’m getting, I’m getting the hang of this. Like…
Lyndsey
I will snowshoe with you anytime.
Lindsay
Yeah It was a lot of fun. Yeah, I was like, oh like I totally see why this is a thing. So I love that. Lyndsey, so what how can people go ahead and connect with you if they want to be able to plug into your work? I know you regularly run just different master classes and you’re Beyond The Body? So if you want to share about that.
Lyndsey
All my work is just at lyndseychambers.com or I’m on Instagram. I’m not on any other social media platforms. Instagram is Lyndsey’s lifestyle. And I do offer one on one coaching and mentorship. I do have my group program, which is Beyond The Body. And it is really a small group container for, I really think it’s the foundation for creating that juicy happiness, for finding your, your own authentic truth and your own calm and your own happiness and creating that.
And there’s a lot of work that needs to go into doing that in terms of like, yeah, boundaries and expectations and the stories we tell ourselves and our nervous system and all the other layers of it.
