We are still in the holiday season right? It’s been a while since I did this- I figured I share some of my favorite things as a mom of three young boys, entrepreneur and practitioner, homesteader and a human like you who is always looking to optimize my health and home.
Some drinks, some brands, some go-to’s that I use daily that help nourish me and the fam. For some time, I was resisting sharing this over here or my blog, and as a result, I didn’t share any favorites! However, I feel like it is important to support you and share with you things that really do make a huge difference over here, in hopes it support you too! So let’s do this, and it will give you a bit of a peek into my daily flow
First of all, I have a rhythm I use to help support my circadian rhythms and hormones in the morning: I use blue light blockers up (use LINDSAYTUTTLENP for 15% off) until I can expose my eyes to natural sunlight (optimally from sunrise!), and then I try to wear them throughout the day especially with screens. Next up, I do my morning happy juice (sometimes I switch this up and do afternoon to!) After I have had breakfast and taken my supplements, I like to have my King coffee. I have been drinking this stuff for five years- it is my absolute favorite! Organic and tested for heavy metals and mold, this is a super clean coffee that has medicinal reishi in it to support your mood, hormones, detox and immune system. Then, it is time to work on the homestead. First, I work with my husband and the kids to feed the goats, then our chicken, cow, sheep and pigs. Our dogs Solo and Bear keep me company. I have found wool layers to be the most important clothing I own during the winter here in Idaho, and they are a great staple for you for travel, skiing or winter outdoor play. Before I start my work day, I actually take some time to journal or meditate. I have found this to be HUGE for me- I actually totally changed my client and work hours later this year to accommodate for this; it makes such a huge difference in my day and stress levels that I knew I had to prioritize it! I utilize the To Be Magnetic journal and meditations. It is my absolutely FAVORITE app for manifestation and connection. If I am feeling like something different, I utilize Joe Dispenza’s gratitude meditation or activating new potentials.
My client hours usually start at 9:30 or 10 am where I work with my Recalibration clients are doing mind body spirit release and metaphysical work or my Expansion clients who do monthly Recalibration sessions, as well as bioenergetics, the nervous system program I built, and have access to me for daily support and coaching.
After working with clients, I pick up my kids from school and I do phone off time from the time they get home to the time they go to bed. I have found this to be essential for harmony in our home, between getting meals made, getting in some outdoor time together, keeping up with house cleaning and really getting some special time in with the kids. Sometimes, I will also stop by the gym with them to get in a workout while I have babysitting help at the gym!
This is when I also like to do some cleaning around the home. My home environment is so important to me, and it allows me to show up for my clients in a place of feeling nurtured. As someone passionate about hormone health and who works with many clients working on this, I have found non toxic cleaning materials to be essential for not adding to the body’s toxin burden. Bedtime for the boys is between 7 and 8 PM, and then some days I finish any projects or work that I wanted to wrap up or I read or watch a show! I am currently reading Hunt, Gather, Parent and There’s No Such Thing as Bad Weather. I have enjoyed these books SO MUCH as a mama looking to raise resilient and strong kids in our Western culture. I find myself drawing from other culture’s traditions and wisdom often, and these books have resonated so much and have been very affirming.
I also like to get in my Sunlighten Sauna twice a week or I do an ionic foot detox bath. These help me with detoxing support, as I work on some deeper cleansing going into 2024. I am passionate about customized detox and quantum biology focused support and now offer a consult for this service due to high demand.
Favorite shows? I literally always have the same shows on repeat, between the Office, Schitt’s Creek, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and Love is Blind. Some other faves include Emily in Paris and Bridgerton. I wish I could say I am more adventurous watching new things, but I don’t venture out of these too often! I usually curl up with cup of tea and snuggle with my husband. I go to bed by 10 or 10:30 and usually do a gratitude practice prior or some somatic work, as well as listen to supportive frequencies for sleep and the body. An app I love and use often is Brainwaves – I love their sleep frequencies!
