Hello, friends! I am so stoked about today’s episode. Literally, this is an episode that needed to happen. It’s gonna rock your world. It’s one you’ll come back to. You’ll want to save it. You’ll want to share it. It’s something that’s been on my mind quite a bit with working with clients and, you know, just even with my own healing journey. And I feel like we’re seeing this huge shift as women to step into this specific aspect of healing. And that has to do with healing money wounds, healing money blocks. And so I was so stoked to record this and to put together this for you because I was like dude people who listen to this they are going to see such huge shifts when it comes to their money.
They’re gonna see huge momentum huge alchemy They’re going to become a catalyst on a whole other level. And so I’m just so glad you’re here. This is going to just be so incredible for you. And so, you know, before I jump into these money blocks, I kind of want to give a little backstory of why this episode just needed to happen, my heart for it. And that is that the more that I dig into healing and recovery, you know, I had chronic illness. I was dealing with Lyme disease and mold toxicity. And literally I could list 20 things because, you know, diagnoses and testing is like that, where you go and you work with functional medicine practitioner and you get the list, right?
So I could list all these things, you know, as I’ve done. The deeper healing work over the last five years, the emotional healing, the nervous system, the energetic component, the generational component. I just kept coming back to a couple things that I was like, oh, wow, like, I think these are actually some of the big, big things and nobody’s talking about them, right? Like, yeah, we’re talking about all the tools and the biohacks and your minerals and even nervous system regulation. I mean, now like brain row training, somatic work. Like people, people are starting to, that’s more commonplace. Like more and more people are talking about that and aware of what it is.
But what I was really finding was that there was a couple of things that were not being talked about when it comes to chronic illness recovery. And it’ll make more sense that we’re going through this episode, but it had to do with your blocks to money and your relationship with money. And, and why this is so, so paramount to your healing is because I have found that with the majority of my clients, they experienced very specific money stories growing up that shifted how they view and interact with the world, their jobs, their, their own design, what they were created to do, their own joy, their own fun. And so I’m just like, goodness, this needs to be talked about. And it needs to be really dived into because, you know, it’s when we can actually heal deeper money wounds and remove these blocks, you will see a shift in your physical health.
I have seen that time and time again. And what I’ve come to realize is that money issues are actually just a symptom. Truly. They’re just a symptom. They’re no different than Hashimoto’s or I mean, I mean, it’s just a manifestation of something deeper within the body presenting a specific way. I would say the same thing about like addiction, right? Like addiction is a manifestation of something deeper rooted in the body. That is the case with money issues. So, once I started shifting my perspective of, wow, this is just another symptom, it really helped me put in perspective, okay, like, this is really, really key for people to experience deeper, deeper healing.
And so I’m going to walk you through today the five biggest blocks that I see that need to be healed when it comes to money. And, and when you work through these, you will absolutely see a shift. And just, I want to say too, you know, in no way do I want to point you from this episode that you can’t start doing the work just by listening in and being able to dig in with what I’m about to tell you. Like, this is stuff you can start today. You can start to heal your money wounds today. You don’t have to wait to meet with somebody, set up an appointment with me. Like, sure, that’s going to be really great, but I want you to know you can absolutely start today with everything I’m going to tell you in this episode, because it’s profound.
So I want you to realize too, so I was thinking about it preparing in this episode, just even my own story and I’ll tell you a little bit here. You know, I actually feel like I grew up in a relatively healthy family when it came to money. You know, I, learn from a young age, like it was kind of, so what I observed was that I didn’t have any want or needs that were denied. It seems like my family, you know, is commonplace to talk about investing or stocks, you know, money seems like a healthy discussion. Now I will say that there’s a couple other things that I observed that I did carry with me and that was, you know, in my home and, and this is no blame to my family at all, but I observed that, you know, my, my mom was the one who was working in our family.
My dad dealt with a lot of illness that had worked prior to that. And what I observed was that my mom worked all the time to earn the money that we had. I mean, all the time. And that was what she sacrificed. You know, she, she did that and she didn’t really love her job. There was aspects of her job, but you know, it was just, I knew that my mom, you know, she didn’t make it to, there’s some dinners she didn’t make to because she was working. And so this has been something that I realized about myself was an aspect that I was bringing into the picture when it came to money.
I realized okay, I carried through out my life, and I don’t want to say it’s directly related to my mom. It was just a pattern, and the pattern was I have to work my ass off and burn the candles at both ends to be successful. You know, I just was like, I’m the breadwinner, you know, and I had carried all these subconscious beliefs around this. And so I also really associated money with safety, which again, I wouldn’t necessarily say is a bad thing. I did observe when I was going through an eating disorder in my teenage years. You know, when I was going to different treatment centers, money did come up more often because it was a very big financial stress on my family.
And that was a bit made known to me. And I don’t feel like that was in any way a wrong or bad thing, but I, I do remember thinking, you know, the biggest stories that I carried away was like, money was something that I had to work really, really hard for. And so that was my biggest, biggest takeaway. Now, I will say too, when I was dealing with this eating disorder, I started, it started as anorexia and then it evolved more and more into like a binge starvation, like binge, um, it was like a binge purging or binge, not eating pattern. And what I’ve seen time and time again working with clients who have binging tendencies is that there is a similar compulsion that also happens with money where there’s a binge with spending, a binge with like erratic impulsive shopping, they can go very hand in hand. So I found that when people can really work on the money aspect, it actually is really, really huge for eating disorders, for weight issues with binge eating issues. It’s huge.
So I want to make sure to mention that because ultimately you have to think of like when we’re in a binge pattern, even with binging with money or like spending there’s chemical reactions happening in the brain. You know if you’ve ever read the book, I’ve talked about it on here before, Dopamine Nation. You know, it’s a dopamine hit. Like, you’re getting this, like, pleasure response hit, and so you, you continue with it. And so, you gotta dig in deeper into why that’s even happening and why your brain chemistry is rewarding that, right? It goes deeper.
And so, with the blocks I’m gonna talk to you about today, they’re gonna be really profound and you may need to reflect through each one because they’re deep. They’re deep, but it’s going to be powerful for you.
So, first, I want to share. And, and we got a specific order here, but the first one that I want to share with you that’s a block that needs to be healed in order to shift the relationship that you have with money, is really just thinking about how you feel about money right now. And this has changed drastically for me in the last couple years. I mean, I’ve done so much deep healing work around this. So, I want you to just sit back and think about how does money feel to you right now?
And the words that I like to mention to clients or even, you know, some of the people that are in my Liberated Sisterhood is the words wealthy, rich, money, and abundance.
And how does each one of those feel to you? And usually there’s one or two that feels a little like off putting for people. They are like, hmm, I don’t, I don’t know about one of those words and it feels really strange. So just be thinking about that if any of those things feel strange or off putting to you and why that is? So how do you feel about your relationship with money right now? Because I will tell you that is creating what’s happening in your life. And as I mentioned to you before, a story that I had created for a long time was that, like, I had a struggle and I had to work my ass off for money. And I think that’s really a, a generational story that we have heard for a long time. And I’ll dig more into this, but a story that I’ve seen for a long time is people sharing just like, you have to hustle, you have to struggle. It has to be such a, a big feat and you have to put in the time and, dude, that is so, that is programming. That is just so much programming right there, and we can just squash that down.
Money is an energy. It’s an energy more than it’s an actual matter. It’s, it’s an infinite resource all around you. And when I started shifting and thinking like, oh, wait. Money is just, it’s all around me. Literally, if I think of, maybe all the money that is surrounding me in a 10 mile radius right now. Whoa, right? Like all the money and, and things that people own and all of that. And I started really, you know,
I remember reading a couple of books, Psychology of Money. And, and it’s not, it’s, um, I think the other one was not, It’s Not Just About The Money or Money and Wealth. There was other books. I’ll put them in the show notes, but I remember reading and just being like, whoa, like this is so much bigger than just, I’ve been limiting money to this tangible thing that I just have to work my ass off for. And no, it’s an energy. It’s an energy.
And so really thinking about where do you have pickups about money right now? And we’ll dig into this a bit more with these next few blocks. But how do you feel about what I just mentioned? And do you tend to associate with the past more than the now? So something I will hear from people a lot is they’re like, dude, I used to have so much money and then I lost it or this happened and we lost it, or I can’t hold on to money. It’s like, okay, well, that is a limited belief. That’s a past story that you are bringing into the present.
And so, because you’re bringing it into the present, you’re not even tapping into the energy of now, the abundance and the wealth of now. You’re tapped into the past. And so, your brain is just going to keep on going there, and you’re also putting out into your energetic field, this is, this is all I can attract. Like, this is what it is. You’re setting out that intention. So, in the mind body spirit release and metaphysical healing work we do, I mean, we dig into these and how to, to shift this subconscious programming. But, it’s really key to understand that this is a, this is a component. And if you are seeing this, sticking in the past, like, oh, I used to have money, or I used to have this great job, or this happened.
Well, you’re not in the energy of now. So really thinking about how do you feel about money right now. Maybe you want to write this down, you want to reflect, take a few days to journal on it, and think about the relationship you have with those words that I mentioned, the abundance, money, rich, and wealth. And where, which ones maybe produce ick, or just a knee jerk reaction, and what is that connected to? Right? What is that connected to?
Which brings me to my, my next thing I want to mention, that’s a big block that comes up for people. And this is the ancestral generational component of money. And so if you come from generational, whether there’s been generational poverty, or there was a, I mean, we probably all do to a certain extent, right? Like you’re carrying 255 ancestral stories in your body minimum. At least seven generations before you in your body, a non coded DNA that measures your emotional resilience of how you respond to things.
And so, think about all those money stories, right? So there’s a generational component. You could also argue there’s a, there’s a past life component of just, what your interaction was with money.
And so I find very often that when I’m working with clients and there’s these money issues that there was a history of whether there was like they were living in impoverished or people that were immigrants and came over starting from nothing. And so there’s this ingrained DNA like response of this needs to be a struggle, that it needs to be a struggle living like paycheck to paycheck, and just that it has to it’s reducing money again to matter. And that it’s it’s there’s not this like self trust or this peace around money so that will come up again and again and again so it’s really important to assess these ancestral stories. You know, like I said, the generational component and, you know, if there was those aspects of even parents living up, growing up super poor or experiencing an unhealthy relationship with money or observing that familially, that will get carried.
And so, a good aspect of here is just kind of observing and thinking about what comes into play around money there. And again, reflecting, be able to come into your body, do some visualization work around that. And I’ll give you some tools too at the end that you can start using. So that’s the other, that’s the second thing that I see come up.
The third thing that I see come up is one’s relationship with nourishment and pleasure. And this is one that I think a lot of people don’t expect, but it’s so key. And I really came upon this in the past two years and then really in the past year when it came to pleasure and fun. And then it all made sense because I realized, whoa, yes, this is what people are missing about money is that your relationship with pleasure. So sex and intimacy and, fun and having fun and playfulness in your life. How much you are connected to receiving and safety and connectedness? That directly impacts your relationship with money. And we’ll dig a little bit deeper into that with the next few points too. But it’s key because, you know, if you are somebody who, and I think of, you know, I think of people that are kind of not good at connecting with nourishment.
I think of the people who are trying to be people pleasers who refuse to have help. They are in a kind of a hypervigilant state. They have to do everything themselves. I find a lot of times healers tend to land themselves in this category. It’s like the healers, the givers, because they, there can be these stories of like, I can’t actually help people and make money at the same time, which is just, it’s just a story.
That’s just a limited belief. I’m a big believer that money in the hands of good people is really good, you know? Like you can do good things with money. Do you need to be living with millions and millions of dollars in your bank account to be happy? Absolutely not but It is essential to, to kind of recognize that is important, like how well you are able to receive and be open and receive nourishment.
Because you have to tap into that feeling before you can tap into more money. So if you already find yourself rejecting help, support, being able to really, like, surround yourself with what you need. Yeah, you’re, one, you’re probably dealing with back aches or neck aches because you’re just unsupported. And so on a metaphysical level, that’s coming up. But besides that, you are probably dealing with some money issues. Because, you know, money is so connected to your ability to connect to those spaces. And I like to think of, you know, that nourishment, uh, that pleasure space is very much connected to feminine energy, and we’ll get to that in a little bit.
Thinking about that is going to be key. What is my relationship to nourishment? So this circles back to what I was talking about too with eating disorders and binging and stuff like that. Typically I see when there is patterns for people of addiction or chronic illness, there is a relationship with not letting themselves nourish themselves. There’s usually a pattern in the body of confusion and not letting themselves rest or like, there’s these perfectionistic tendencies, not feeling good enough, and so, there’s not this connection to this inner receiving and nourishment, and then it’s showing up in this other way, right?
So it’s just a symptom. The money stuff is a symptom. But the one that people miss out on that is just fun, is fun, you know, like money is connected to pleasure and fun. And, you know, this has just been, like I said, so much on my mind in the past year with just recognizing even my own relationship to pleasure and seeing that as a portal, as a gateway, gateway to more abundance and it really pushed me. I was like, dude, I definitely can connect more on this, you know, connect more to the fun around money. So that is, that’s something that I have my clients work on is having fun with money and specific things that they can do to do that. But it’s like, you know, you’re not meant to be penny pinching every single cent you have, you know, set aside 10 percent that you are, you know, maybe using for travel or buying yourself a fun meal or, you know. Money needs to be fun, because the more you can let money be fun, the more you have a trust of it coming in and out, in and out of your life.
So that is super, super key, is just to have fun. Have fun. And the really, you know, I’m seeing more and more courses around this now, too, as far as, you know, really connecting to your sexuality and, and greater intimacy to be able to experience more money. And so. I’d love seeing that there’s, I’m just finding it and maybe because now I’m in the energy of it and I’m setting out the intention so much of it comes up on my feed and I’m loving it. I’m loving it. But it’s so true because this, that goes all back down to nourishment. As much as you will let yourself receive and feel so much. So damn good. That is how much you’ll let yourself receive money. They’re completely, they’re connected. They’re correlated. And so the more you can let yourself feel like ecstasy good, the more you’re allowing room for money.
And that is very much connected to your relationship with your own sexuality and your ability to receive. So that, is an aspect that if you’re already like, dude, yep, that’s one I need to work on, take that into consideration with what you’re going to do to start shifting your, your money blocks and where can you make some shifts there or bring some intentionality to your relationships, right? So, you know, that can be a bit loaded too, but just a starting point, a starting point.
You know, I do with my clients, some conscious couples work, and that’s really all about allowing for more emotional intimacy in your relationship so that that leads to often physical intimacy. And getting to experience that, which is huge, especially for people that are really kind of, I would say, my, my fellow mamas that are in a place of life that, you know, they just are feeling tired. Or, you know, even if you’re not in a relationship, this is where you are connecting to that, you know, how can you connect to pleasure, right? So, huge.
That’s like one of my biggest points.
But that brings me to a very connected point, which is your relationship with masculine and feminine energy. So this is number four. Your relationship to masculine and feminine energy is directly correlated to what you’re going to experience with money, directly. So, you know, masculine actually tends to be more of that, you know, authoritative energy and tends to be more associated with money.
And so I find that if people don’t trust the masculine, so if they don’t trust masculine energy, they maybe have a relationship unresolved with their father or with, um, just men in their life or have abandonment issues.
That is, that’s your flag. That’s your flag to be like, oh, okay, like, there’s a place that I can start to do some healing, some forgiveness. Really dig into resolving these abandonment wounds so that I can heal my relationship with money. Absolutely needs to happen. That masculine money energy is like that being held energy.
So, you know, being able to be held and taken care of. Again, this is stuff, and you know, I I have an episode coming out later this season that’s gonna be with me and my husband. This this has completely changed our marriage, because I had such dominant masculine energy for the good part of our marriage up until the last few years, truly, and bless my husband for sticking with me through it.
You know, we, we both have had to do so much healing work, but I was in that dominant relationship and it really, you know, there was some deeper abandonment wounds there for me. There was for him too, you know, and I think about it, like I realized it was funny, even just two years ago when I was digging into my human design and seeing that one of my actual things that came up. It was for, I forget exactly where, but it was just saying that I, you know, physical touch came up for me, like really needing physical touch. And it was so interesting because I had always put physical touch as like my lowest love language. And that’s my husband’s highest, because I was you know, I think I, for so long, was so uncomfortable in my body because of the eating disorder I had. I was so uncomfortable and had just never done the somatic work to really heal and come into my body.
And so there was always, I was always, to a certain degree, holding back. And so, in the last few years, I stopped holding back. And that’s been a journey. It’s been an immense journey of letting myself be held and deepening my trust in him and it’s been beautiful. I’ll start crying about it. It’s been beautiful because I feel like I’m getting to experience really love in the way that it was created to be, right?
Like this beautiful sacred union that we have, but I had to get there, you know, I had to get there and I had to heal some of these deeper things and, and he did too. And so, you know, how much you can heal those masculine wounds, your past relationship, your relationship with your paternal side, that’s huge for money.
And then from the feminine angle, it’s also just as important because
as I was just talking about that nourishment, that openness, that receiving, that’s connected to your feminine. And so this is where I see things go so wonky because what I’ve observed, because I have been in the online money making avenue for a while. Like, I’ve, I’ve been building businesses online for, for many years and, you know, now I have my consulting and coaching and I still do some affiliate marketing work, which I love. But I had observed for so long, gosh, it’s, there’s this like huge masculine tendency online of, you know, just going so fucking hard.
I mean, it’s like constant, you know, posting all day long and you’re into people, you know, I don’t, this is my observation, you know, outside looking at. I don’t know everybody’s whole thing and how many assistants and all the things they have, but I also had to audit my, this is where, you know, you can’t fall into a victim stance and you have to audit. I was like, dude, like, I need to start auditing what I’m seeing and what my inputs are because I can only act out of my feminine creative, your creative womb, sacral space. Like, you can only create from that if you are really auditing your space and really allowing for this connection to, you know, really knowing you’re not having excessive inputs.
You can, you can really only create if you’re coming from a place of creation and inspiration and really connected to your feminine space. And so this is where I see there’s a huge, and I think we’re in a big turning point to be honest. I see, I see it across the board because so many people who come to work with me, or maybe they work with me in the affiliate marketing space and they’re like,
They’re, we’re doing it so differently. We’re not doing it from a place of like, go and burn out or subscribing to, you have to do things a certain way to see success. That’s where the lie leads, is that no longer do we have to accept this story that you have to do things a certain way to achieve success, or this go hard all the time energy, or produce, or like, put up this shit that doesn’t even resonate with you.
Stop! Stop. Like, you don’t have to do that stuff anymore. The more that you can come into your body, and come into who you were created to be, and come into your inspired, created self, the more you are just gonna make so much freakin money. So much freakin money. I have seen it. It’s like, I was looking at, you know, I track my, my profit breakdown. I have a spreadsheet that I’m tracking my month to month breakdown. And I have probably, like eight streams or more of income, eight, nine. You know, when I break down, like what is courses that I’ve sold to different people and that other companies are using and our renters and my coaching business and my affiliate, like when I break it down, right.
And to see that number go up every single month, since I started implementing what I’m sharing with you is, is it’s just so confirming. It’s like, okay. Yeah. Like, we’re hitting the spot here. Keeling with that masculine and feminine energy is just key. It’s absolutely key. Okay?
So, I want you to be thinking about that, and, you know, it’s very hard when we have just had so much conditioning, and the conditioning has been as I said, I mean, I brought this from just a generational story that you literally have to work, you know, burn the candle at both ends making money. That was the story that I was carrying and that I would have to just work myself into pure fucking exhaustion just to see money. And I, I finally said, I don’t subscribe to this. I don’t subscribe to this anymore.
Like I can make money from a place that is honoring my feminine joy and spirit and energy.
And be in this place of, you know, I started to create the intention. I was like, all right, I want to be n a garden and I want to be in just nature and I’m going to be making money as I’m doing these things, you know. And then I started to think, dude, that’s, that’s actually not too much to ask. I just have to set the intention of what I want to be experiencing because God, and like this energy, I mean, the energy all around us responds to our intention. We were creators. So we just have to set out. That intention, right? So digging deep here. I want you to think about your relationship to that, that masculine feminine energy and really, you know, where can you shift? Where can you find more balance? And what I found is more often than not, people are very, very masculine dominant in the entrepreneurship realm.
And it comes from a lot of wounds. and then they’re not tapped into that feminine side and so they’re operating out of like functional freeze and burnout in their businesses and so they’ll go hard and they’re burnt out. And then they’re irritable and then they have anxiety then they’re going hard and it’s this constant like circus cycle that you can get off of, right?
The fifth thing and then I’m going to tell you some things I want you to start doing, okay? The fifth thing that’s going to be a big block here is one that’s kind of you may have already thought about it, and if you haven’t, you’ll hear it here, and that is your nervous system regulation. And so, yes, nervous system regulation, nervous system retraining, it’s become very trendy. It’s become very trendy, and it’s funny because it’s almost like getting to the point of, it feels almost somewhat like it’s becoming, it’s just like how biohacking became so like profitable. And now it’s like everywhere, but how much is it actually helping, right? You know, I see, I saw the same with the holistic wealth or holistic health world, right?
Like, how much does it actually, you know, yeah, yeah, it’s beneficial, for sure, but I’ve seen, you know, it’s important to kind of keep it all in perspective, right, because I see that with nervous system regulation now, it’s trendy, it’s popular, subconscious, you know, brain retraining work. Where I see it missing the mark often is that it’s not connecting back to the energetics in the body, because you can do nervous system retraining all damn day. But until you come into your body and start bringing in the somatic piece and the energetics, that’s, that’s the missing component.
So that’s what I bring into all of my work. But the nervous system regulation piece is so, so huge because you can only begin to experience money in this profound way when you are also connected to a state of calm and peace. So if you’re constantly in this place of just anxiety or worry about money, like, or that nervous system dysregulation. So that’s that, you know, if you’re in that chronic fight or flight pattern, or when I see functional freeze, you know, most people that I see who classify themselves as lazy or just some functional freeze. You’re just a functional freeze, you know, so you need to bring back more vagal toning in your life, more nervous system work to help bring more balance to your nervous system so that you’re not in a dominant one part of your nervous system.
So, you know, I would say with nervous system work, what’s really key is the more that you can connect to your body and start to connect to your breath and connect to calm and connect to, you know, whether you want to utilize tools like EFT emotional freedom technique, or you want to connect to meditation work.
I mean, and there’s great apps for this. I love insight timer. I love curable.
I love the calm app. Um, There’s so many, I’m like looking on my phone right now because I’m, I have one that I was even loving lately and I was, oh, Envol, E N B O L, Envol. So there’s so many, there’s so many resources out there. But this is really key because the more you, you want to get out of, you know, I was talking about being kind of in that, that state where when we’re in this frantic frenzy state around money. I’ve seen it very much categorized or connected to patterns of addiction earlier in life. So whether that was drugs, eating disorder, alcohol, then it’s, we’re kind of in this like frenzy state of, you know, like kind of the, the chem, the chemical imbalance here, you know? So we want to bring more balance and more calm to our state because money responds to our energy.
I like to think of it as like, you know, when I got advice, when I started beekeeping, so I have a, we have his homestead, if you didn’t know.
And our first year on the homestead, this is so impulsive of me and my husband. It’s, it’s really good projector man, jet energy combo here. We decided to do beekeeping. You know, this whole time we were like, oh, we’re going to wait a couple years. And then I was like, no, I want to start right now. So we got all the beekeeping stuff and the best tip that I learned in all the learning and education I got on beekeeping was that bees actually respond to your energy. And so it’s really important that you’re as calm as possible, cool, collected, because they respond to that.
That’s, that’s essentially what they’re reading into. As far as whether they react or not, so, you know, I never, I still have not been stung by a bee and I was beekeeping, um, you know, and I only did it for a few months with the beekeeping, but then a bear got into the hive. So that’s a whole other story. But, you know, it was really profound. And I come back to it because I was like, dude, these bees were so calm.
And that’s really kind of the state of animals, which gives us some good clues. You know, animals are so calm. Yeah, in the energy of what energy we present. So it was just, you know, that’s, that’s why we want to bring in that calm.

They’re, you know, if you’re coming into stuff being like, well, I’m desperate to make money or, you know, if this, if this doesn’t work out for me, then I’m going to, you know, then it’s no, you can’t bring desperation to money.
It’s an energy. So, you have to shift your relationship and I want to be sensitive here because I know everybody has different situations and you know, I’m kind of giving a more baseline tone here and a generalization. But I want you to think about that because fear and money, if you’re bringing fear into money, that is going to affect how much you can make, bottom line.
So where do we go from here? And I just wanted to wrap up this episode just giving you a few places to start, is you need to tap into what you want to be feeling before you have the money, right? So I want you to think about, you know, I had actually, I was thinking back on, you know, the first time I realized I was a six figure earner and I remember when that happened and it was, it was an interesting moment because, gosh, this was, ooh, like, seven years ago?
And I remember when I realized it, and then I wasn’t even totally happy. I wasn’t totally happy, and it was because I had realized, wow. I’ve really just, I still was dealing with Lyme symptoms worse than ever before. I was just constantly in a cycle of burnout and exhaustion and not having boundaries and just working all the fucking time. And it was just kind of this moment of like, is this it?
Because it doesn’t feel like it, you know? Like, I want, this isn’t necessarily what I want. So what I want you to take away from this, and so this has shifted for me, and now I make more money than I did then, but now I feel like I’m actually living what I want.
Okay, so I want you to tap into what do you really want? And that may sound so basic and so simple, but most people can’t answer the question. What do you really want? And this is where I want you to journal, reflect, dance, move, whatever you need to do to get really clear. On what you really want when it comes to money and and what you want to be experiencing around money because and add as much details as possible I want you to get into your senses.
So things that you can see and hear and touch and smell all of it because a lot of people say that they know what they want, but they don’t in their body. And this is where I see a lot of autoimmune issues come up because there’s confusion. And really, I see autoimmune as just confusion in the body. You’re unclear with what you want and you’re not aligned with what you’re actually like, you’re, why you’re here, right? Disease is dis ease in the body. So really think about what do I want and what do I want my relationship to do with money? And connect with what you, how you want to feel without, like, before you even have the money.
So, maybe you need to envision a certain amount of money, too, in your hands or, like, holding it. So, I always like to think of that, too. Like, imagine holding, like, you have a certain amount of money in your hands. 20,000. How does that feel? Right? And if there’s an aspect of you that feels unworthy, or is like, this feels really weird and, you know, that I shouldn’t have it, well, you’ve answered why you’re not making that money.
So when I started thinking about and setting a goal, I had a specific, uh, amount in mind that I wanted to be making monthly. And I had to get comfortable with it. I was just like, oh, wait, I do have some things that are coming up for me here of just beliefs of why I can’t do it or why I can’t experience it. I had to dig into that first so that I was already feeling like I had that amount of money in my hand before, you know, and I’m getting closer and closer to it, but I’ve had to experience what it feels like first and what I wanted to feel before actually having that money. So you have to tap into the feeling first because otherwise you’re going to get there or you may get there by chance and you’re going to not still be, you’re going to be like miserable.
You know, and that was my, my case was, you know, I finally got there. I, I got, I got to a certain amount, which was just a lower amount, like seven years ago. And I, you know, it was like this sense of like, oh, I feel like I should feel more proud or happy and I don’t, you know, uh, because I didn’t get there the way that I really had anticipated.
So, something to think about and something to really reflect on. What do you really want? And what do you really want around a relationship with money? And what do you want to be experiencing in your body? Like, what does it feel like to hold on to that money?
And, and you know, what would you do with the money? So that’s even another thing. How exactly would you spend it? What would you be doing with it? And again, most people can’t answer that question. They’re just like, you know, I have people come to me all the time. Oh, I want to make 20,000 a month. Yeah, but what are you going to do with it? Like specifically, like I want you to write it out and I want you to really start feeling into that frequency because it’s a frequency first.
And what is it going to require of you? And so I started to shift what my perspective was, because this whole time I’m thinking, Oh, like, I gotta be this, this boss bitch who’s always working and, you know, running 20 businesses and doing all these things. And then I was like, wait. No, I can create this to be how I want. I get to create the story and I don’t have to subscribe to the way the world or American culture has taught me about money. So how can I have fun with this? How can I, how can I play around with this? And I, and I have, and that’s been so fun because it’s totally revolutionized my relationship with money.
And there’s so much more trust, so much more peace. And there’s so much more just, you know, ease there. So I hope this can encourage you today. It’s giving you some, a place, great place to start.
